    • Product Description

DIN5685 chain, also named DIN5685 round link chain, is manufactured as per Germany Standard.

It includes DIN5685 short link chain (Type A), DIN5685 long link chain (Type C).

DIN 5685A refers to a specific standard established for short link chains, outlining precise specifications for their construction and performance characteristics. These chains are characterized by their compact links, offering enhanced flexibility and maneuverability compared to longer link variants.

The links are designed to interlock snugly, forming a continuous and reliable chain capable of withstanding considerable loads and stress. The compact design of short links affords greater flexibility, allowing the chain to conform to irregular shapes and contours with ease.

DIN 5685C is a German Industrial Standard specifying the requirements for long link chains. The elongated links provide more space between connections, allowing for easier attachment of hooks, shackles, or other fittings. This design also enhances flexibility, enabling the chain to conform to irregular shapes or contours.

This type of chains are widely used in general purposes, such as engineering, industrial, agricultural and marine

    applications.

The chain material can be Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel AISI 304/316.

    • Process & Packing

The welding was crafted via the resistive butt method, situated precisely in the midst of a linkage leg. It exhibited a seamless finish all around. The chain links and welding must remain free of cracks, indentations, or comparable imperfections that might weaken the chain post-soldering. The material’s diameter at the solder point never surpasses the specified dimensions and never falls short of the linkage material’s diameter. For a sleek, welded chain, welding-induced fins will be excised, ensuring a seamless finish all around. Placing the solder at the straight barrel’s core and the tolerances set for protrusions at the solder will guarantee the necessary clearance.
