    35W*K7 Non-Rotation Compacted Steel Wire Rope having configuration of different twisting direction of strand among its multi layer, which the outest layer having counter clockwise rotation and the innerlayer having anti-clockwise rotation. This configuration allows wire rope to resist turning force which couldprotect the equipment such as pulley sheaves or stabilise the load during lifting (crane auxiliary line). Small diameter of strand grant high flexibility to the wire rope which reduce the bending pressure exerting on sheaves. compacted strand increase the strength of wire rope by 9% to 10% of same diameter and increasethe abrasion resistance as compacted surface increase the contact surface of wire rope with sheaves andreduce the pressure exert on wire rope, therefore extends the life of Drum Winch and Sheaves.

    35W*K7 ropes can be used with a swivel at the end. In fact, we suggest you use a swivel during installation and the ‘break-in’ period to get the rope settled. After the break in period you can lock the swivel to stabilize the rope.

    • Lay directionsCautions:

    1. When choosing wire rope should consider the safety factor, even if no broken, lifetime of the rope will be shortened. To load object, safety factor should be not less than 4:1, to load human, it must be more than 10:1.

    2. Method of putting wire rope is the key before using, the right method can eliminate the stress inside the rope.

    3. Never use wire rope overload.

    4. Don’t make the wire rope touch the sharp corner when strapping or lifting, consider to use protector if need.

    4. Multiple strands wire rope should be fixed when cut, prevent outer layer loose.

    5. It should be scrapped when abrasion on outer layer, corrosion degree or broken wires exceed the specified value.
