35W*7 / 24W*7 Non-rotation Resistance Steel Wire Rope
Compared to 18*7 and 19*7 series, wire rope-35WX7 non-rotation not only has better resistance to rotation, but also comes with better flexibility. Its density is l5% higher than that of either 18*7 or 19*7 series. In the market, both 35W*7 and 18*7 series are highly demanded. 35WX7 non-rotating steel rope requires higher cost than 18*7 series does.
Wire rope-35WX7 non-rotation is two-time formed. You need entwist 16 small strands, and then entwist them with 19W*7 steel core. Our rotation resistant steel-cored wire rope is specially handled for minimizing the inner stress.
In the national standard, the 35W*7 wire rope is mainly divided into two kinds of structure, one is 35W*7, one is 24W*7, and the steel wire rope is produced by layered twisting, the production of wire rope is first inner layer, then the outer layer and two twists are made.
35W*7 ropes can be used with a swivel at the end. In fact, we suggest you use a swivel during installation and the ‘break-in’ period to get the rope settled. After the break in period you can lock the swivel to stabilize the rope.
Model Number: 35W*7/24W*7
35W*7 ropes are non-rotating wire rope
Usage: Oil platform cranes, tower cranes, telescopic mobile cranes, water conservancy.
1. When choosing wire rope should consider the safety factor, even if no broken, lifetime of the rope will be shortened. To load object, safety factor should be not less than 4:1, to load human, it must be more than 10:1.
2. Method of putting wire rope is the key before using, the right method can eliminate the stress inside the rope.
3. Never use wire rope overload.
4. Don’t make the wire rope touch the sharp corner when strapping or lifting, consider to use protector if need.
4. Multiple strands wire rope should be fixed when cut, prevent outer layer loose.
5. It should be scrapped when abrasion on outer layer, corrosion degree or broken wires exceed the specified value.
