1.5″ 35MM 3T Steel handle Ratchet Tie Down Strap with double J hook
A ratchet strap, also known as ratchet lashing strap, is a length of sturdy material, typically polyester webbing, that is equipped with a mechanism for tightening and securing cargo. These straps come in various lengths, widths, and load capacities to accommodate different types of loads and securing needs. The most common mechanism for tightening is a ratcheting system, although cam buckles and overcenter buckles are also used.
In the realm of securing cargo during transportation, ratchet straps play a pivotal role in ensuring safety and stability. These straps, with their robust design and ease of use, have become indispensable tools across various industries, from logistics and construction to recreation and agriculture. However, with safety being paramount in any application involving heavy loads, standards like EN12195-2 have emerged to set guidelines for the manufacturing and utilization of ratchet straps.
