1-1/16inch 27MM 1.5T rubber handle ratchet buckle for lashing strap
Using a ratchet buckle on a tie-down strap is fairly straightforward, but it’s important to ensure proper use for safety and effectiveness.
- Thread the strap: First, thread the loose end of the strap through the slot in the center of the ratchet mechanism. Pull the strap through until you have enough length to reach the object you’re securing.
- Wrap around the object: Wrap the strap around the object you want to secure. Make sure the strap lies flat without twists or knots. Position the loose end of the strap so that it’s accessible for tightening.
- Engage the ratchet: With the strap wrapped around the object, pull the loose end of the strap to tighten it. Pull the handle of the ratchet up and down repeatedly until the strap is tight around the object. The ratchet mechanism will lock the strap in place after each pull.
- Lock the ratchet: Once the strap is tight enough and the object is secure, lock the ratchet mechanism in place. Most ratchets have a lever or latch that you can engage to prevent accidental release. This ensures that the strap remains tight during transport.
- Release the strap: When you’re ready to release the strap, disengage the ratchet mechanism by lifting the release lever or latch. This will allow you to pull the loose end of the strap and release tension.
- Unwrap the strap: Unwrap the strap from the object and feed it back through the ratchet mechanism. Store the strap properly to keep it in good condition for future use.

Cautions:
Steady placement: Position the strap precisely within the ratchet buckle and ensure it’s not kinked or incorrectly aligned.
Handle delicately: Evade dropping the ratchet buckle or subjecting it to jolts or harsh manipulation, for this might induce harm that may weaken its structural integrity.
Beware of overloading: Bear in mind the mass and carrying capacity of the ratchet buckle. Do not go beyond the indicated weight threshold.
